I am a peer tutor at my high school, tutoring all grades 9-12. I also have an 11 year old brother in 6th grade, and I often help him out with his homework. I have a generally rigorous course load, so I've taken some quite challenging AP and honors courses. I consider myself strongest in the sciences and english courses, but find myself to be skilled in all subjects. Some relevant courses I've taken are AP Language and Composition, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, Honors Trigonometry, Honors Biology, Honors Chemistry, Honors World Literature, AP Calculus AB, and AP Physics 2. Scores include: AP Biology - 4 AP Language and Composition - 4 AP Chemistry - 4 SAT Math 2 - 770 SAT Molecular Biology - 780 ACT Composite - 35 I'd like to be a tutor because I enjoy meeting new people, and would like to move from tutoring just high school age students to students of all ages. I have fun tutoring my brother and his friends sometimes, and I think it'd be a great way to spend the extra time I have now that I'm not working on college applications. I'd also like a steady job to start saving up for my choir's international tour this year, and for college, which is coming up soon.
